Photos: German club Dresden's fans throw severed bull's head into pitch to show dislike for rival club RB Leipzig

Things can often get heated between rival fans during a football match or any sports event at all, but no one expected Dynamo Dresden fans to throw the severed head of a bull into the pitch during their German cup match against RB Leipzig on Monday.

Both sides aimed to book their place in the second round of the DFB-Pokal Cup, but the clash was marred by the off field incident as Dresden fans angry at the rise of RB Leipzig from the lower leagues to the Bundesliga within a very short period of time.
Mind you, RB Leipzig is a club based in East Germany, and clubs based in the east don't usually do well, added to the fact that RB Leipzig was created just 9 years ago and are now playing in the highest league division- Bundesliga. Dresden fans had to show their disdain for the club by throwing the severed bull's head.
RB Leipzig went on to lose the match 5-4 to Dresden
